Acupuncture amongst all the so called alternative therapies has reached a high degree of acceptance and respectability in the western world since it’s importation in the last half half of the twentieth century and it is now common for GPs to recommend acupuncture for their patients.

The next step or challenge for the acupuncture community is more high quality research.
